ArchInterPlay

by Dimitra

Interested in human behaviour and psychology, I am passionate about integrating immersive technology into design to create interactive experiences that blend imagination, emotion, and psychological insight, bridging the digital and physical worlds in meaningful ways.

Here you’ll find a selection of projects from my two fields of interest: architecture and interaction design. Each stands on its own, yet they often intersect, sparking new ideas where the boundaries fade.

About Me

I am Dimitra, an Architect-Engineer from Greece, currently based in Copenhagen. My journey has taken me from working on architectural projects in Athens to pursuing an MSc in Medialogy at Aalborg University, where I explored the intersection of technology, design, and human experience.

I enjoy projects that balance structure with playfulness and are centered on the user, shaped by emotions and human needs. Whether I am designing physical spaces, crafting interactive experiences, or prototyping new ideas, my goal is always to explore how design can reshape the way we connect with one another and with our surroundings.

At the core, I see design as a way to connect people with each other, with space, and with imagination. I value lightness and joy in life, and I hope my work can improve people’s everyday experiences or, at least, inspire them.

Beyond design, I enjoy photography and reimagining images into imaginative compositions, as well as practicing acrobatics and knitting, activities that bring balance and new energy whenever focus reorientation is needed.
